Celebrate God
Ephesians 3:20–21
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
Scripture Reading – Psalm 92
For our call to worship this Sunday, we will read together Ephesians 3:20-21, which reminds us that God can do immeasurably more than we can imagine, working in us and through us according to His power. Paired with Psalm 92, a psalm of praise for God’s steadfast love and mighty works, we are reminded that His faithfulness endures and His power transforms lives. Even when our circumstances feel small or overwhelming, God’s ability to exceed expectations encourages us to trust Him fully. Like the flourishing of a well-watered tree, our lives reflect His glory as we remain rooted in Him. Our response to His immeasurable power is worship, recognizing that all honor, glory, and praise belong to Him forever. This is a good reminder that worship is not about us or our preferences, it is about God and praising and exalting Him, it is our response to His glory and loving kindness.
The songs Forever Reign, Thank You Jesus for the Blood, Jesus Paid It All, and How Great is Our God teach us these truths through melody and lyrics. Forever Reign reminds us that God’s love and sovereignty stretch over every aspect of our lives. Thank You Jesus for the Blood and Jesus Paid It All highlight the depth of His sacrifice, our redemption, and the personal nature of His grace. How Great is Our God invites awe and reverence for His majesty and creative power. Together, these songs reinforce that God is powerful, faithful, and worthy of our praise, inspiring hearts to trust Him, rest in His promises, and live in joyful obedience.
